1. Introduction and Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of rareacademy.in and any associated RARE Academy platforms, applications, and services (collectively, the “Platform”), operated by RARE Integrated Services Private Limited (CIN: U74900AP2016PTC098067), having its registered office at FF-01, 1st Floor, PVR Residency, Near Lodge Center, 6/12 Brodipet, Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, India, 522002 (“RARE Academy,” “the Company,” “we,” “us,” “our”).
By creating an account, making a purchase, or otherwise using the Platform, you (“Student,” “User,” “you”) agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.
These Terms should be read together with our Privacy Policy and our Refund and Cancellation Policy, both of which are incorporated into these Terms by reference.
2. Definitions
- “Content” means all mock tests, questions, answer explanations, study notes, video lectures, interactive tools, calculators, and any other material made available on the Platform.
- “Services” means access to Content, assessments, progress tracking, and any other functionality offered through the Platform.
- “Account” means the individual login credentials issued to you upon registration.
3. Eligibility
You must be 18 years of age or older to create an Account or use the Platform. Where access is provided as part of a batch under a college MOU arrangement rather than through self-registration, the enrolling institution is responsible for confirming eligibility and obtaining any consent required by law on behalf of a minor student, as further described in our Privacy Policy.
By using the Platform, you represent that you meet this eligibility requirement or are accessing the Platform through an institutional arrangement that has addressed it on your behalf.
4. Account Registration and Security
To access mock tests, video lectures, and study notes, you must create an Account (managed through our secure authentication system). You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
- Maintain the accuracy of your Account information
- Keep your password confidential and secure
Your Account is strictly personal to you. You may not:
- Share your login credentials with any other person
- Permit simultaneous logins to your Account from multiple devices or locations
- Rent, lease, sell, transfer, or otherwise make your Account available to any third party
We monitor session activity and access logs on an automated basis to detect patterns indicative of shared or compromised credentials (for example, simultaneous active sessions from different locations). Where such activity is detected, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate the Account without refund, in accordance with Section 15.
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your Account. Notify us immediately at training@rareacademy.in if you suspect unauthorised access to your Account.
5. Free Unit 1 Trial
Every RARE Academy course offers free access to its first unit so you can evaluate the Content and format before purchasing. Use of this free trial is subject to these Terms in the same manner as any paid Service.
6. License to Use the Platform
Subject to your compliance with these Terms and payment of applicable fees, RARE Academy grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Content solely for your personal, non-commercial educational use.
This licence does not permit you to reproduce, resell, sublicense, publicly display, or commercially exploit any Content in any form. This licence terminates automatically if you breach these Terms.
7. Intellectual Property Rights
All Content on the Platform — including proprietary mock test questions, detailed answer explanations, markdown/digital study notes, and video lectures streamed via our video hosting provider — is the exclusive intellectual property of RARE Integrated Services Private Limited, protected under Indian copyright law and international treaties. Our name, logo, and “RARE Academy” branding are also our property and may not be used without written permission.
You may not, whether directly or through any automated tool, bot, or script:
- Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract Content from the Platform
- Copy, download (beyond the Platform’s intended functionality), reproduce, or distribute Content in any form
- Screen-record, capture, or otherwise duplicate video lectures or interactive tools
- Share, upload, or re-publish Content on any other website, application, or platform
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of any Platform tool
- Use Content, in whole or in part, to train, fine-tune, or evaluate any artificial intelligence or machine learning model
- Remove, obscure, or alter any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notice on the Content
If you believe your intellectual property rights have been infringed by material on the Platform, or if you become aware of unauthorised distribution of our Content, please write to us at training@rareacademy.in.
8. About the Certifications We Help You Prepare For
RARE Academy is an independent, privately-owned training provider. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to NISM (National Institute of Securities Markets), SEBI, IRDAI, or any other examining or regulatory body referenced on the Platform. References to “NISM,” specific exam series (e.g., XIII, V-A, V-D), or other regulatory terms are used solely to describe the examinations our Content is designed to help you prepare for, and do not imply any sponsorship or partnership.
All Content is original teaching material independently developed by RARE Academy based on publicly available examination syllabi and objectives. It is not a reproduction of any examining body’s official workbook, question bank, or copyrighted material.
Our mock tests, calculators, and study materials are educational aids designed to help you prepare and build understanding. RARE Academy does not guarantee that you will pass any official certification examination. Actual exam questions, format, passing criteria, and outcomes are determined solely by the relevant examining body and are outside our control. RARE Academy is not liable for your performance in, or the outcome of, any official examination.
9. Fees, Payments, and Refunds
All fees for courses, workshops, and other paid Services are as displayed on the Platform at the time of purchase and are payable in advance. All payments are governed by our Refund and Cancellation Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. In summary: all purchases of digital products and live/scheduled programs are non-refundable once access or booking is confirmed, except in the limited circumstances described in that Policy.
10. Corporate, Institutional, and College-Sponsored Access
Where your access to the Platform is sponsored by an employer, corporate client, or educational institution under a separate commercial agreement with RARE Academy, that agreement governs the commercial terms of the arrangement (pricing, seat allocation, renewal). These Terms continue to govern your individual use of the Platform, including account security, intellectual property, and conduct obligations. Authorised representatives of the sponsoring organisation may access your progress and assessment data through an organisational dashboard, as described in our Privacy Policy.
11. User Conduct
In addition to the Account and IP obligations above, you agree not to:
- Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law
- Harass, abuse, or disrupt other students, trainers, or staff
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform, other Accounts, or our systems
- Upload or transmit any virus, malware, or harmful code
- Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity
12. Third-Party Services
The Platform relies on third-party service providers, including for payment processing and video streaming. Your use of these integrated services is also subject to the respective third party’s terms. RARE Academy is not responsible for outages, errors, or interruptions caused by third-party service providers, except as described in our Refund and Cancellation Policy.
13. Content Updates and Accuracy
We make reasonable efforts to keep Content current with applicable examination syllabi and regulatory changes, and to correct known errors. However, examination bodies may revise syllabi, formats, or regulations at any time, and we do not guarantee that Content reflects the most recent version of any official workbook at every moment. Where we become aware of a material change, we aim to update affected Content within a reasonable time.
14. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate your Account, without refund, if we reasonably believe you have:
- Violated these Terms (including the Account-sharing or intellectual property provisions)
- Provided false information during registration
- Engaged in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity on the Platform
You may stop using the Platform and request deletion of your Account at any time by writing to training@rareacademy.in, subject to our data retention obligations described in our Privacy Policy.
15. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Platform and Content are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, RARE Academy disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. We do not warrant that the Platform will be available at all times or free from errors, bugs, or security vulnerabilities.
16. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RARE Academy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of the Platform.
Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Platform shall not exceed the amount you paid to RARE Academy for the specific product or Service giving rise to the claim, in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.
17. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold RARE Academy, its directors, employees, and trainers harmless from any claim, loss, liability, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Platform, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
18. Feedback and Testimonials
If you provide feedback, a review, or a testimonial about your experience with RARE Academy, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual licence to use, reproduce, and publish it for marketing and promotional purposes (using your first name and course details, unless you request otherwise in writing). This is separate from, and does not itself enrol you in, the Alumni Credential Registry described in our Privacy Policy, which requires its own separate opt-in consent.
19. Privacy
Our collection and use of your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Platform, you consent to the data practices described there.
20. Modifications to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date and apply prospectively from that date. Your continued use of the Platform after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you directly.
21. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Guntur, Andhra Pradesh.

In accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000, we will acknowledge your grievance within 48 hours of receipt and endeavour to redress it within one month from the date of receipt.
23. General Provisions
- Severability: If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.
- Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Refund and Cancellation Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and RARE Academy regarding the Platform.
- Waiver: Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms is not a waiver of our right to do so later.
- Assignment: You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
- Force Majeure: We are not liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, government action, or extended third-party service outages.
- Notices: We may send notices to the email address associated with your Account; such notices are deemed received when sent.
