Refund and Cancellation Policy

  1. Introduction
    This Refund and Cancellation Policy (“Policy”) governs all purchases made on rareacademy.in and any associated RARE Academy platforms (“Platform”), operated by RARE Integrated Services Private Limited (CIN: U74900AP2016PTC098067), having its registered office at FF-01, 1st Floor, PVR Residency, Near Lodge Center, 6/12 Brodipet, Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, India, 522002 (“RARE Academy,” “the Company,” “we,” “us”).
    By making any purchase on the Platform, you (“Student,” “you”) acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Policy. Please read it carefully before purchasing.
  2. Our Products
    RARE Academy offers educational products and services including, but not limited to, digital assessments, study materials, recorded/self-paced courses, and live or scheduled training programs and workshops (online or in-person). This Policy applies to all paid products and services offered on the Platform, whether listed here specifically or introduced in future.
  3. Try Before You Buy
    Every RARE Academy course offers free access to its first unit, so students can evaluate the content and format before purchasing. Given this opportunity to review before buying, all purchases are treated as informed decisions, and the policy below applies without exception.
  4. Digital Products — Strictly Non-Refundable
    All purchases of digital products and self-paced/recorded courses are final and non-refundable once payment is confirmed and access is granted. Because these are digital assets delivered instantly and irrevocably upon purchase, no refund, return, exchange, or credit will be issued once access has been provided, regardless of whether the content has been consumed, downloaded, or viewed.
  5. Live and Scheduled Training Programs — Strictly Non-Refundable
    All purchases of live or scheduled training programs, workshops, and hybrid classroom sessions (online or in-person) are final and non-refundable from the point of booking confirmation. This applies regardless of whether the program has commenced, and regardless of the student’s attendance.
    This policy reflects the nature of our commitments: RARE Academy incurs binding, non-recoverable costs at the time of booking — including advance venue reservations, trainer allocation, and material preparation — which are made on the strength of confirmed enrolments.
    No cancellation window is offered. Students are strongly encouraged to confirm their availability and review the free first-unit content before booking any program.
  6. Exceptions — RARE Academy’s Responsibility
    This non-refundable policy applies to the student’s own decision to cancel, not attend, or discontinue. It does not limit RARE Academy’s responsibility for its own performance.
    In the event RARE Academy is unable to deliver a purchased program due to a verified technical failure on our own platform, or in the rare event a scheduled live session is cancelled or indefinitely postponed by RARE Academy (for reasons within our control), the Company will — at its sole discretion — either restore access, provide an equivalent alternative session or date, or issue a refund for the affected purchase.
    Force Majeure carve-out: The above exception does not apply where delivery is prevented or delayed by events beyond RARE Academy’s reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government orders or regulatory action, internet or power outages, strikes, or extended outages of third-party service providers we rely on for hosting, payments, or infrastructure. In such cases, RARE Academy will make reasonable efforts to reschedule or restore access at the earliest opportunity, but is not obligated to issue a refund.
    Duplicate or erroneous payments confirmed by our transaction records will be refunded in full.
  7. Failed and Pending Transactions
    If an amount is debited from your account but your enrolment or access does not reflect within a reasonable time, please contact us immediately at training@rareacademy.in with your payment reference. We will verify the transaction against our records and, where a genuine failure is confirmed, either grant access or process a refund as applicable.
  8. Refund Processing
    Where a refund is due under Section 6 or Section 7, it will be processed to the original mode of payment through our payment partner, Razorpay, within 5–7 business days of approval. RARE Academy does not store your card, UPI, or banking credentials; all payments are processed through Razorpay’s secure, PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway.

  10. In accordance with the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, we will acknowledge your grievance within 48 hours of receipt and endeavour to redress it within one month from the date of receipt.
  11. Amendments to This Policy
    RARE Academy reserves the right to modify or update this Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date and will apply to purchases made after the date of the update. Purchases made prior to an amendment will continue to be governed by the Policy in effect at the time of purchase.
  12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
    This Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with this Policy or any purchase made on the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Guntur, Andhra Pradesh.
